BACKGROUND
2002 CE, in the Blood Seas of the Abyss, in the Throne of the Succubi Queen, Lilith.

The Seventh Seal is the strongest of the seven magical wards that keep our universe and the Demon-held Abyss separate, specifically acting as a wall that keeps all but the weakest of Demons from entering our world. Lilith is a Daemon, a General and royalty among the Demons and Devils that are trapped in the Abyss.
The Abyss is a hellhole; unless you consume a great deal of energy constantly, the Abyss will eat away at you, until you are erased from existence. Hence the reason that demons try to steal souls or escape. Souls are massive amounts of energy, and when consumed they allow the digester longer longevity in the abyss.

If the Seventh Seal breaks, all the other Seals break quickly thereafter.
Only one thing can break the Seventh Seal:
If the Order of the Neven fails, the Seventh Seal breaks.

And only one member of the Seven Knights of the Neven is left.

And his name is Canis of Lupis, Son of Lupis.
