Alright. This piece... well, it started as my practice sketch of some instruments, and, well, I didn't stop. It looked really good, at least good enough I didn't want to draw it a second time, so... the pre-sketching turned into the penciling for this.
Was busy today, went to volunteer at a local book sale. So, this got to sit until late rather than getting done early on my saturday. I'm hoping to get caught up with Inktober tomorrow. Gotta get back in the game.
NOISY
Dancelins are the goblins that don't come to mind first. Dirtlins wreck and eat crops; Gearlins sabotage tools. Stalklins even will get in the way of hunting game. All of these are practical concerns, and one who lives near fae-infested wilds prepares for them. But Dancelins? Oh, they always end up surprising someone.
Dancelins love festivals. Dances, songs, music and everything to do with celebrations. They... don't understand why celebrations happen. Or what makes music, well, music. They like to make noise, and their noise almost always causes more trouble than good.
Their disharmonious notes sours milk and somehow makes it harder to stay drunk. Worse, they're more slippery than other goblins. They ruin food and drink, and think religious ceremonies are quite the right place to fling dung at attendees.
A dancelin at a marriage ceremony can turn the proceedings into a outright brawl to try to stop the little party-crasher.
