A bit of a personal challenge this month. Not aiming to have 30 of these done by the end of the month, but the ideas is to take a break from colored stuff to work on poses for a bit. Aaaand I haven't really done a bunch of #Crux art in a while, so it feels apt to do.

Crux is a homebrew fantasy and RPG setting I made a few years ago. Dark fantasy and magical western, Crux has guns, intrigues and horrors. It also gives me an excuse to art people in 1830s fashion, which I find enjoyable for some reason. Here's the pile of this challenge done so far

Artists require their art to be seen; like plants need sun, human minds seem to make art matter. To be something, not just ink or paint or pixels. So, I collected a bunch today. I'm going to try to comment on all of these, but if'n you feel generous, try it yourself. Sometimes giving an eyeball and a kind word makes an artist stronger.

It wasn’t like teleporting was hard. All one needed was to hit that spot just right, at just the right speed, think of the exact place you want to be, and BAM! You’d pop right up like toast out of the toaster. All kinds of people over town could do stranger things. Like Matilda Marston in his class whose hair was so strong that it can only be cut with wire cutters. There was a man on the television once that blew bubbles that couldn’t be popped, even when an army man shot it with his gun. So why was it so hard to believe that he could teleport?
He’d known how to teleport since he learned to walk. His Ma and Pa put him to bed and turned out the light. For what seemed like forever, he cried and cried, and cried, but no one came to pick him up. He stopped crying and started to pace back and forth in the crib, or at least pace as well as a baby can after knowing how to walk for only week. Agitated and restl

Also managed to catch up on a bunch of old notifications. I tend to let them pile up too much. Back in the day I'd give each fave I got a lot of work. Praise, thought and response.

I can't really do that again- I don't have the hours to devote to it. But I can try, from time to time, to help some fellow artists feel the madness and joy in the art again.

Women shouldn't have a single day. They should have a fair share of the history and culture and society we all share in. But, I'm still going to support that day the best I can.

Feminism for me is the idea that if you want to be treated like a person, you treat others like persons. You don't make others suffer to fit your cultural or personal views. You stop and recognize when your gender has no right to tell the other how to live or exist.

I have wonderful and strong women in my life. They deserve all of my respect, today.
