It wasn’t like teleporting was hard. All one needed was to hit that spot just right, at just the right speed, think of the exact place you want to be, and BAM! You’d pop right up like toast out of the toaster. All kinds of people over town could do stranger things. Like Matilda Marston in his class whose hair was so strong that it can only be cut with wire cutters. There was a man on the television once that blew bubbles that couldn’t be popped, even when an army man shot it with his gun. So why was it so hard to believe that he could teleport?
He’d known how to teleport since he learned to walk. His Ma and Pa put him to bed and turned out the light. For what seemed like forever, he cried and cried, and cried, but no one came to pick him up. He stopped crying and started to pace back and forth in the crib, or at least pace as well as a baby can after knowing how to walk for only week. Agitated and restl
Women shouldn't have a single day. They should have a fair share of the history and culture and society we all share in. But, I'm still going to support that day the best I can.
Feminism for me is the idea that if you want to be treated like a person, you treat others like persons. You don't make others suffer to fit your cultural or personal views. You stop and recognize when your gender has no right to tell the other how to live or exist.
I have wonderful and strong women in my life. They deserve all of my respect, today.
